Yes, there's a lot of adjusting to do, but if we Amurrrrikins will just accept the fact that there's a lot of different ways to get things done, we'll have a lot more fun, and learn something along the way! The humidity is terrible for Rocky Mountain types, but you just have to get used to being sticky, and you do get over it. But the culture is part of the charm of the experience, part of the learning, part of the game. Just tell your grandson to play the game, and he'll get pretty good at it!bea/robertahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948431449524678882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6495931264389525340.post-80116539444594447622012-04-12T10:56:55.119+12:002012-04-12T10:56:55.119+12:00Well, I keep trying to make plans to stay. I've talked to one of the middle school principals about being the music teacher - haha - and one of the teachers came to Jim and told him he should be teaching physics. We have until October 2013, so for now, we're staying. Come September 2013, we'll see! They may have to drag me onto the plan kicking and screaming!bea/robertahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948431449524678882noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6495931264389525340.post-71809709895263049632012-04-11T02:06:58.125+12:002012-04-11T02:06:58.125+12:00Love your insights, Bea. I hoped it would help him with the culture change he was to face and the temperature and humidity shock! It has, I'm happy to say - he looks forward to every installment! Keep up the good work! We love you and look forward to your next 'report'!elkgrandmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07229272467724650303noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6495931264389525340.post-27168601328687751642012-04-10T18:20:12.465+12:002012-04-10T18:20:12.465+12:00Sounds perfect! In my area of Sacramento we have many families who are Tongan. I wonder now what they think of us! I really enjoyed this, and will think about it a lot now! Bea...are you and Jim planning on coming back??? Just gotta ask!!!Angellahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17478661095984526285noreply@blogger.com
